GPS...never trust it!

First off, as you can see I have been terrible at blogging but today I had to take the time to share my morning. It was an OMG moment!

So I have a maternity shoot scheduled. I type into the trusty GPS my destination and it guides me there. When I was 5 minutes away I called my mom to be and said I was around the corner. She then says I am upstairs doin my hair so just walk in. So GPS says "you have reached your destiation". I look and address is correct so what do I do...I walk in.

A woman is on the phone so I softly yell I am here! She gets off the phone and says your here? Are you here for church? I was like no, here for maternity photos. Here the lovely GPS took me to the correct address just in the wrong town!!!

Yes thats right, i walked into a strangers house (with all my equitment by the way). Thank God she was a good sport and we had a good laugh. I could have been killed if she wasnt a nice person! LOL.

I ended up being a few minutes late for the actual session but my people were great about it and couldnt stop laughing!

It ended up being a wonderful session with a couple expecting their first baby. They were so adorable and so in love. Mom was gorgeous and very photogenic.

Here is a sneak peek for the Kaye family who just 8 days ago welcomed their first baby into the world. Little Abigail was not to happy with us having her in her birthday suit, but with the help of her mom and dad we were able to steal some great shots!

Baby Laina...

Our latest newborn, Miss Laina. What a sweetie!. She was perfect for me. Pretty much slept through the entire session.

Cant wait for our beach session when she is 6 months!

New Year Sale!!!

New Look!!!

Hoping everyone had a wonderful New Year!

If you haven't noticed already we are in the process of getting a fresh new look. Stacey Dennin Photography is getting a face lift!!!

We are updating the site, logo, pricing, details and new products so pardon our appearance. The design is being played around with so you may see color changes over the next few days. We should have it all completely done in the next week or so. Be sure to check back for all the new stuff!!! In celebration of our new look and the new year we will be having some specials in the next 2 weeks so be sure to keep up with our blog to see the updates!

Also we are adding a testimonial section to the website. I will be sending client surveys to everyone. I love getting feedback from my clients. Its what really makes me fall in love with my job over and over again! So I would be so appreciative to anyone who fills out the survey.

Hope everyone enjoys the changes going on and the new products. If anyone would like to see something please feel free to mention it in the suggestion box in the survey.

Hey everone. Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday. We sure did.

Quite the HAM...

A Girl & Her Trees...

Here is what my little girl looks like on a typical day. Her thumbs in her mouth and this blanket wrapped around her pretty much from head to toe (as you can see!) She has had this blanket since she was a baby and it rarely leaves her side. It even has a name...TREES! We joke all the time that she will probably take this thing to college with her! Ya gotta love her!!!

I can't believe it but my baby boy turned one already! We had a great little party with close family and friends. A party's not a party until the little stinker man has an allergic reaction. Poor little kid broke out from his own birthday cake. His face got a little irritated/nothing major. But he loved it anyway. Here some pics from the party.

Beautiful Day, Beautiful Family...

Here's a sneak peak for one of my favorite familes. These guys rocked it. What a great family. We had so much fun at this session, I think we did more laughing than anything else! We hung out at the gorgeous Tookany Creek Park. And these kids were really cooperative and made sure we had so much fun! Hope you enjoy your images. Thanks for a great session!

We have resorted to turtles...

As most of you already know, we had to give up out dog Princess. This left us a house of only humans. According to my kids we can't function with only humans in a house. And since the baby is allergic to dogs and cats they came up with the great idea to get a turtle!!! I am so not a turtle person. Well I sucked it up and felt bad so we go "turtle shopping". They find a store with turtles and my brillant husband mentions the idea that "we can't have just one turtle, we should get two". Again I am so not a turtle person so as you can imagine it made my night! But we got them home and they are to my surprise kinda neat (different but neat). So here are a few pics of Katie and her turtle "Kelsey". (she pulled this name out of the sky)

Baby Thomas...

Meet the adorable Baby Thomas. We had a great newborn session with this little guy. With mom's help he pretty much slept the whole time. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Sweet Pea...

Here are some updated photos of London Paige. I posted pictures of her as a newborn in an earlier blog. She is getting so big. She is like her moms twin, its so funny. So adorable ...isn't she?

Farewell Princess...

We had a sadness strike our family this week. Our pediatrician called with Baby Richie's lab results stating he has a really high allergy to dogs. So this ment we had to give up our Prin. She is our 2 1/2 year old english bulldog. She has been with us since she was 10 weeks old. And what a joy it has been. She was the best dog you could ever ask for. The kids were so close with her. They would all play together for hours. We love her so much but the baby's health is much more important so we had to make the hard decision to find her a new home. She has gone with a good friend. He actually works with my husband and promises we can visit. We are gonna miss her very much and our home will never be the same! We love you "Prin"!!!

A New Life...

I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful morning with a really sweet family for a newborn session. Meet the adorable William! He decided early on he was not sleeping for this session. He was determined to stay up for almost 3 hours. His mom was so patient trying to get him to sleep but it didn't happen until I was walking out the door!

Jazzy Girl...

Meet Jasmine. She is an adorable 18 month old baby girl. Her mom is a dear friend to our family. Our families have been close for years. But anyway, this little girl is so cute. Every single time I see her, she has a baby doll in her arms. I mean really it never fails and I am pretty sure its always the same doll. Its the sweetest little thing. She is so easy to photograph too. Wherever I put her she just sits and acts as cute as ever. I love it, she is such a joy.
